Made It to Chambersburg

Good Evening Everyone from Chambersburg, PA!

The Mission Team headed out this morning at around 7:30 a.m. with eleven members, lots of luggage, five boxes of books for the Wade Center, casseroles, breakfast breads and lots of cookies and brownies.  Thank you all!

As usual, Allyson Printz had a fun itinerary for us today, including a visit to the "Motorcyclepedia Museum" in Newburgh NY.  We had lunch there and looked around.  A real fun place!

After another leg of the journey, we came to the "Seven Tubs" trail in Wilkes-Barre PA.  We got to stretch our legs and cool our feet in a cool spring waterfall.

Then came the thunderstorm.  It poured!  Thankfully, it didn't last too long.  We made it to a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Carlisle PA for some good down-home cookin' and fortunately got to the large paint can in Shippensburg PA for yet another year's photo.

It's been great to have some fun and get to know one another before we get to the Folklife Center, where the real work begins.

We'll be up early tomorrow and on the road by 8 a.m.  Please keep praying for us - especially for travel mercies as we head down.

Pastor John
